Co-founded in 2010 by industry veteran Ken Kao, Waypoint Entertainment is a full service production company that provides creative and financial support to their projects. Guided by a collaborative and passionate team, led by partner/producer Josh Rosenbaum, the company serves as a project incubator, empowering talent and filmmakers through all stages of development and production.

Notable credits include Yorgos Lanthimos’ Academy Award-winning The Favourite; Shane Black’s The Nice Guys; Martin Scorsese’s Silence; Scott Cooper’s Hostiles; Destin Daniel Cretton’s The Glass Castle; and Terrence Malick’s Song to Song and Knight of Cups. Recent projects include Tilman Singer’s Cuckoo, Duke Johnson’s The Actor, Nick Rowland’s She Rides Shotgun and Michael Angelo Covino's Splitsville. Upcoming films include Aneil Karia's Hamlet, Phil Lord & Christopher Miller's Project Hail Mary, and Boots Riley's I Love Boosters.

In 2024, Waypoint launched its horror label Cweature Features with Osgood Perkins’ breakout hit Longlegs, followed by the upcoming film Hokum, directed by Damian McCarthy.
